50commentscruiser update 12/07: I work part time at steamworks. Here a few updates. We have day time special from 8 am to 4 pm and student rates all the time.--I was there for the first time today and was very impressed with it. Met several good looking guys that were will to service me. The saunas are rather dark but your eyes do get use to it quickly. It is situated on three floors with the top floor open with a pool table and TV and videos playing.

Centrally located downtown near the clubs and restaurants, this 3-storey building is located discreetly just off Bank Street at Lewis. Cross street: Bank and Lewis
When to go
Open 24 hrs a day. Best times: The best times to go is during day around lunchtimes and the weekends. We dont have interac but a bank machine. No smoking is permitted at all there. Thanks Dates open: Open 24 hrs a day.

The trouble is.....gay men 9in Ottawa tend to go for this raunchy 'dirty' type place.....go figure.....and edge sauna aka sauna 63 aka coedsauna63 stayed empty....now its co-ed. Dum dum dum.....Montreal is the best place or TO.

yes, duh, sorry about the misspelling of crabs (aka pubic lice etc). i am sure i got them at Steamworks because of the time line... i had not played anywhere else in months and got symptoms shortly after the one visit. I do agree you can get them anywhere, but just saying, I have played elsewhere for years and never ever had this happen. statistics said it was bound to happen.... oh well... all clean now...

Are you sure you did not get the craps at the Casino in Gatineau. I don't think they have craps in Steamworks but they do have a good roulette wheel.

I am not in the habit of putting down places, but I have to say then while visiting Ottawa I went to Steamworks, had a good time, and then came home to find I had craps... Major down and depressing and disgusting. Maybe some guys out to cure themselves before going to a public place.
