Etiquette

Lots of down time between the hours, when the room fills up with racketballers coming off their courts. From steamroom can see entrance into the shower area, monitoring who comes in.

Safety

cruiser adds 2/8/2008: It says that it's checked on hourly. It's not. The staff checks the Locker Room, but not the Shower area. The only people you have to worry about are some of the older members. Be discreet. previous comment: Locker room and shower / whirlpool / steamroom area check on the hour by staff.

I'll be there tonight around 9. I'd love to meet someone in the steam room for fun or even go to your place for extra!

I've had a couple good times in the steam room. But it's usually busy so it's best to move to someone's place from there. Weekend afternoons are the best times I've found, Usually not too busy then.
