It is halfway between Albany and Salem. You can drive under the freeway to the opposite side as well. Cross street: Talbot Rd.

When to go

Parking lots are 24/7 the river access is from 5AM to 9PM. Best times: Early evenings

Etiquette

Park down by the boat launch and walk around the trails or along the river on the Southwest side.

Safety

Slow sometimes. Police come through the parking lot occasionally. Never seen them on the trails though.
