Park near the end, or swing around to secondary car parking. Get out and go to pay phones is probably safest.

Some guys too eager and too obvious in their cars can be irritating. Use discretion. Can be busy with non-cruising visitors. Privacy difficult. Rarely a cop will drive through. Have something to misdirect if you stay in your car.
