Large clifftop picnic area, complete with handy tea-bar. Scenic views over north sea (while you wait). Small toilet with one cubicle, rarely used, with small viewing hole to three-man , where the action is. Good 'twist' at entry for advance warning.

Where exactly

Follow signs for Seaham from A19. Make for Seaham Hall and old Church, just north of Seaham Harbour. Toilets are in picnic area.

Cruisiest spot: Urinals in toilet.

When to go

Lunchtimes, early evenings till about 7 pm.

Etiquette

Park up near toilets and hang about for a while. It can be surprisingly busy.

Safety

Too many families with kids at weekends. No extreme danger, but police have been known to stop by.
