Very active during summer months after dark. Lots of trees and secluded areas, and the river bank is down a hill away from the road and very secluded. Old out houses have s, new ones near parking lot are fiberglass.

State police do patrol the area but not heavily and cannot see the river area…

Where exactly

Eastbound on M-55 from M-65 approx. 6 miles to east branch of AuGres River. Rest area is on north side of the road, alongside the river. Cross street: M-65

Cruisiest spot: Along the river bank (very secluded) and at the very rear of the park by the old rest rooms (also very secluded).

When to go

Summer weekends after dark.

Etiquette

Walk to the rear near the old out houses and hang around there, or down the path to the river.

Safety

State police do patrol the area but not heavily and cannot see the river area from the parking lot. Stay away from the M-55 bridge over the river next to the park as this is frequented by fishermen.
