The guide

Where exactly

From M55 head North on Sand Lake Road. Turn Left on Indian Lake Rd and drive around Sand Lake. Turn right at stop sign (you will still be on Indian Lake Rd) and drive to Latham Rd (small business area) and turn left. Go to end of street and there is the National Forest Camp Ground and Boat Launch. Cross street: Lake St

Cruisiest spot: Rest Room at Boat Launch is very cruisy.

Etiquette

Just park and watch the guys that come to launch boats and/or just to "look" at the lake.

Safety

There is a fellow who runs the campgrounds for the Park Rangers. Generally he doesn't bother you unless you cause a disturbance. Park Rangers will stop by on occasion to collect fees for the boat launch.

Ill be checking this place out when im up north, got a cabin just outside of hale near 65. Bi bottom for blow and more.
