Where exactly

Leave Northampton to Oxford along the A43. Just past the MacDonalds, BP garage and Travel lodge on the right, you pass Buddies Diner on the left. Pull in to the next layby on the left.

When to go

Early evenings, weekends and lunch time.

Etiquette

Truckers use the area daily so wait for them to initiate. Reps and Married types will be a little cautious - get out of your car and walk around or flash your inside light once.

Safety

Be aware of the weigh station in summer, it's manned sometimes.
