But Hotdickhole, you just mentioned you didn't think Steamworks would be all that because they have a couple of stairs at the former friction location. And stairs affect your hard on. I guess if your face is in a pillow while you wait and wait and wait, a hard on isn't gonna matter for you. better just stick to that conversation your having with yourself about barebacking huh?

i walked in @ steamworks place in the makin formerly friction. well the door was open the guy said maybe arround May they will be open. I find this place more accessibly friendly, can't wait to venture there.......... now about M2M when is a good time to go?

I just read it in xtra. Steamworks coming soon to the old Friction. Finally a well run Bathhouse in Vancouver. If it's like the one in Toronto It will be top of the line and fully operating before it opens.

Yay! I can hardly wait for Steamworks! It oughta shake things up a little. Guess we won't have to worry about seeing you there then hey hotdickhole. Another Yay! If you do show up maybe they will put powdered Viagra on those what 8 steps Friction had so you can try and keep it hard. Hard ons becoming hard to come by for ya? Anyone know when they are opening?

In terms of the friendliness factor, I was only there once but found the staff as friendly as one would expect them to be. I was in town from the United States on business and the staff made me feel quite welcome. The guy at the reception window greeted me with a "Are you in town visiting?" followed by a nice explanation of the policies and procedures. He gave me an overview of the playspace and encouraged me to have a good time. Obviously mine is just a one-time experience, but I felt welcomed by the staff and was given nothing in the way of "attitude." Maybe it was because I was a "rube" visiting from small-town Oregon. Who knows?

skip, u've got me all wrong bud...u'll never catch me saying anything bad about m2m...it's one of my favourite bathhouses...i've been going since it first opened...i'm into the kind of laid-back, no hang-up type of guys that go there...no pretensions, no attitude...and i don't care what ppl say about this place...i see plenty of hot guys there, i like the staff, i always have a good time...i'll always b going there don't worry... i was really talking about steamworks...the toronto site has had this reputation for yrs now as the place where only hot guys go...all i'm saying is, it isn't always all that...lotsa hot guys do go, butt u will find ppl who aren't so hot...maybe i shouldn't have used the word trolls...sorry...i'm just not into the kind of pretense and attitude that u sometimes find at steamworks...this is also why i've stopped going to f212 for yrs now...way too much posing for my taste...

Gee, Hotdickhole, that's a pretty cruel comment about the apparent increase in so-called trolls at M2M. Weren't you once worried that you were quickly becoming one yourself? That was ages ago, and frankly I wonder how hot that dickhole can be after all these years. I'm sure it farts dust. M2M would be a lot busier if the staff were also less cruel. Last time I went the guy at the front said, "You again?" and when I left a tip upon leaving, he said, "Oh, another big loonie." Actually, it was a toonie I'd left, despite the fact that the place was dead and I got no action. In the big cities I've noticed that bathhouses are much more welcoming and cater to the many guys who show up 3 or 4 times a week for easy, safe, anonymous encounters. Perhaps Steamworks already knows this, and that friendliness is good for business...then maybe it won't be so frustrating to find some fun here.

I don't think this place is that bad, although it has slowed down over the past few years. But, if Steamworks comes to town, and it's as good as the one in Toronto (I just moved back to Vancouver from there) M2M and even f212 will definitely lose.

Waste of time and money. The place was way too hot (Temp not the crowd) and after being told I was "next in line" for a room, I heard 3 other lockers being called because their room was ready. I gave up after half and hour and went to f212. Don't bother with this place.

I was there over the week-end for the first time in a year. I like the glory hole booth, but was sad to find that not one has a working lock on it. There really hard to use when people are slamming the doors open all the time. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to fix them properly. Stop buying at dollar stores and bolt them on. I know you are the only game in town rite now, but someday a new one will pop up again, and you will lose customers again because you won't keep your place in good repair. And the couch on the TV room is a disgrace.

Word on another site is apparently the cruise moderators are suspending profiles that put down establishments such of this, no matter how true your experience may be, so judge by only glorious times! lol I think those that live here in Vancouver though do know what the deal is at M2M though.
