The guide

Where exactly

Simply cross the bridge from the IN side to the ILL side. As you pass the Lincoln monument on your right, take a sharp right after you leave the bridge and follow that road under it. The road is mostly dirt and gravel and you will see plenty of parking facing the river bank. Cross street: South Second Street

Cruisiest spot: Parking area under the bridge.

When to go

Regular cruising time apply to this site as well. Weekends after 9:00pm are best.

Etiquette

Park facing the river with lights out so that you can see cruisers on the other side walking along the memorial grounds. Flash your headlights to let them know yo are interested and wait. As cars pass by look for th usual signs. Flash your tail lights if interested.

Safety

As always police have made their way down there but it was usually very seldom judging from the vast amount of graffiti on the understructure of the bridge itself. Since the road only leads back to a farm and farmland many miles down, anyone driving down that road is looking for something.
