From Dallas travel south on I-35E to the Brookside exit in Waxahachie. Go left over bridge, street ends into Main street. Turn right travel to first traffic light and turn right, park is straight ahead. Cross street: Jefferson and Grand

Cruisiest spot: The west side of the park. There's a bridge that leads into the woods.

Park closes at 10:00 p.m. Best times: Mid-days, and afternoons, weekends busy with families so best to avoid. Dates open: All year
