Poor excuse for a gay bar. Edwardian alcohol laws start the downward spiral at the door. What does anyone need addresses for in this day and age? Too many females. Locals seem to need to bring their hags with them like some sort of lap dog. Also, it is unfortunate that there is no lesbian bar in Winnipeg. Then there would be a happier lack of their presence at a gay bar. Maybe a leather bear bar should be openned here. It would be nice to go to a man's bar, instead of a mixed bar.

I found Gios to be a fun place. If you go with a negative attitude you won't enjoy yourself no matter how good the place is. I was asways welcomed and not just came onto. There is a great mix of people including straights and curious straights. Weekends are great and even though there are Queens there at times they are friendly and some are a real gas. I can take 'em or leave 'em. Of course at Halloween and New Years they are in Regal display. I you don't like a place then don't go. Go looking for a good time and you'll have it. Don't take someone else's word for it Go and enjoy yourself.

How are rants done using someones account by someone else? Especially since he apparently has his own nick, shouldnt he log on as himself? or is he using your account because you have premium level? I think thats in violation of the terms and conditions of use... if it really is another person rather then another personality...

This is a very well created and operated facility with an excellent location and tastefull, comfortable, inviting, welcoming facilities. It shouldn't just be crowded a few times a week. I think of gay friends in other cities who would be so delighted to have something even close to this in their towns. Kurt

It really is not much fun in there. The patio can be ok in the summer. It is the only gay patio in town
