These well-worn trails along the creek
are behind Emory University. Popular
cruising area with college guys
looking for action.

There IS an Emory Rd. It's off Briarcliff, not Clifton. From Briarcliff there's a point in the road where it's obvious it dips down lower and
there are no houses on the left side of the street. That's where he's
talking about. Although there is no sign of a park, just a large expanse
of woods on one side of the road.
  • Hours:Afternoons to early evenings. I found it to be a very pleasant area.
Summer is slow. Fall is better when school is in.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No

I didn't see anyone down there at all, but it's summer and the University is out for the summer break, so maybe it will pick up again in the fall. I'll try this place again just because I like the woods atmosphere, and I'd LOVE a chance encounter here.

  • This person who listed this sure didn't make it easy to find. First there is no Emory Rd, do you mean Clifton Rd, that runs thur the campus? Directions are very poor, are you refering to Emory Grove Park?
