The place is still under construction and scheduled to open in October 2006. It's a huge truck stop with restaurant and a "truckers only" lounge. Flying J has a reputation for being cruisy at all their locations. This one should be no exception.

From Interstate 10, look for sign for the Brookshire exit. It will also say F.M. 359. It's a huge truck stop on the corner. You can't miss it. Cross street: F.M. 359
Cruisiest spot: Toilet stalls in the men's room are good for action.

The place is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Best times: Best times are late at night and early in the morning, but the lunch crowd can be lucky at times.
Etiquette
Looking for eye contact works best. Also, keep your clever sandals and A & F t-shirts at home. You're in a small country town. You'll need to dress down for this one.

Be careful how you cruise around this place. If you're going to cruise the trucker's lounge, it helps to look like a trucker. Keep an eye out on the staff because if you're careless they'll sure remember you. Flying Js' are notorious for their security cameras and it's been rumored for years that they have them in the men's rooms too.
