The park is long and narrow. Begins where the former cruising spot of El Empecinado ended (but the opposite side of the river). El Empecinado no longer works, as the city gvt. chopped all the bushes.

10-15 minutes walk from the old town. Cross street: Castilla Sq.

Cruisiest spot: Darkest places of the park. Some cruise the roundabout of Castilla in their cars.

When to go

Works only late night, as during the day the park is too busy with families. Best times: After midnight. Dates open: Always open.

Etiquette

You can go down to the river banks when you find a partner.

Safety

Burgos is sexually not the most active city (many people are closeted and many others go to Madrid). As always in spanish parks: beware! Normally a quiet place, but some incidents reported.
