The guide

Where exactly

Head towards the A38 via Derby Road (A5121) and turn left at the roundabout on James Brindley Way. Continue over the bridge and turn left at the first roundabout. Continue again for approximately 200 yards and turn right down the first lane. The lane is about 50 yards long and at the end is a large field. On the left hand side of the field is a wooded area. You can park anywhere along the lane after 18:00. Cross street: Hillfield Lane

Cruisiest spot: In the wooded area there is a large clearing and many large boulders. This is the best meeting place.

When to go

Anytime in the wooded area is fine for cruising however if you plan on going by car the best time is after 18:00 as you can park anywhere in the lane.

Etiquette

I have only ever met gay cruisers here. No dog walkers or wardens at all! Make eye contact and give a smile to show you're interested.

Nudity: Yes / There are usually a few cruisers who are completely nude whilst having . More often than not, the majority of the twinks are topless.

Safety

If it is raining there is no shelter other than the trees..
