After you get to the end of the wooded path, you have to step to the other side of a chain fence to get to the well-bushed areas, where all the action takes place.

Where exactly

On FM 517, between State Hwy 3 (Old Galveston Rd) and I-45 South.

Cruisiest spot: In the back of the East Park, by the trail, into the woods and bridge going back into the wooded area.

When to go

Open from morning till dark. Best times: 12pm-2pm and 4pm-6pm (seems to be the most active). Dates open: Open from morning till dark.

Etiquette

Either sit in car or truck and nod to the man in the vehicle, or sit on the picnic tables near the bridge.

Safety

I believe there is poison ivy. There are a lot of rabbits and other wildlife, and I saw 2 snakes yesterday.
