The guide

Where exactly

Take exit 49 off of interstate 86. Follow signs into Big Flats. Make a right onto Canal Street. At intersection with Main Street, go straight across onto River Street. River Street ends at Route 352. Make a left. Short way down on Right. Look for baseball and soccer fields. Take the dirt road at end of ball fields. Drive down around fields. Park at river. Follow paths.

When to go

11am til 2pm and 6pm til dark.

Etiquette

Young and old. Mostly office staff from the area on lunch break. Remember, there are straight men here occasionally. Most are fishing. If you meet someone just out for a walk, make eye contact then adjust yourself. Use common sense and keep the place clean.

Nudity: Be very careful and walk way back in before trying to remove all your clothing.

Safety

Ball leagues in the summer months. But they shouldn't be a bother. They never go out back on trails.
