The Flamingo - Inn Amongest the Flowers - is a beautiful property in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale's gay lodging district. It is close to the beach , boosting a totally renovated European-style inn atmosphere. The facility is also referred to as Florida's first luxury boutique hotel serving the gay community. With luxury in mind, the gotel was completely renovated and re-opened in February 2002. The fifteen rooms and suites have been remodelled with the cool airy influence of the British West Indies. All have new bathrooms, four poster beds, white on white beeding with duvets, with French doors opening onto a private courtyard. Flowers and fountains surround the walled courtyard and heated swimming pool.
