  • they do offer day passes here. I'm staying here right now, and the best feature is its location, a very short walk to the beach and restaurants.
My experience with the facility and staff have been somewhat mixed. The staff has been very freindly, but the place is definately in need of updating, the mattress is worn out, the bathroom is in need of repair, and the a/c is pretty noisy.

  • Really looking to stay at a men only resort, and to have fun! Is this resort men only?

    Commented on 11/22/2008 2:02:02 AM

  • Take it easy guys. The management at Windamar is absolutely accommodating! Give Michael a call there and he will almost ALWAYS fit your needs. I've ALWAYS been able to book a room for one or two nights on the weekend for a weekend jaunt for just me. It's always been ok. Sometimes they may be booked - but don't be turned off by the online reservation system. Just call them. You'll get what you want! Trust me - they are amazing there!

  • I booked my room for 4 nites, and single occupancy over the phone with no problems.

  • Is this place like Orlando's Parliament House? At Parliament House you can wander about and see guys in their rooms and hook up.

  • I attempted to book a reservation and their website will only accept reservations of 5 nights or greater.

Maxwell - nearly all hotels base their rates on "double occupancy" and I've never seen a hotel that gives a discount for single occupancy. The rate you pay is the room rate, not the number of people who sleep in it.

Like most private hotels, if there is room available and you're booking last minute, they will probably be willing to knock a few bucks off the room rate if you're willing to negotiate.

I'm glad to see that they offer day passes. I'm usually here on business and arrangements are made by corporate, so it's unlikely that I'd be able to stay here.

Who goes to this place? The pictures on their website showed a gaggle of vacant-eyed robotically handsome boys. Do *real men* go here? There would be nothing worse than staying here and being trapped with a horde of catty sissy twinks.

  • I emailed them yesterday, there is no double occupancy rule, on the website though, it says there is a min. 5 nite stay, but, in the email they said 4 nites is fine. This place does sound hot though.
