Join all of Calgary's women MLA's for a night of Axe Throwing and Live music. Female politicians are subject to enormous amount of online violence and name calling, as well as numerous double standards in general. However, having more women in politics makes a difference in how things are done and we need the voices of more women in leadership positions. This is a fun night in support of the re-election of 8 strong, talented women. Tickets include axe throwing lesson, axe throwing tournament, and live music from Mariel Buckley, Yolanda Sargeant, Kate Stevens, Abductees doing an acoustic set, and Sean Hamilton!! Children under 16 are welcome to join us for free, but can't throw axes. If you can't attend, please consider purchasing a ticket for someone who can't afford one. Tickets available in the link, or contact one of the MLA's.
