The rest area toilet has s and no action until after attendant leaves at 8pm. After that, things get busy. Guys will often go out on trails for one on one. Probably wise to bring a small flashlight to see your way back. Occasional police patrols, but they haven't taken any action.

At mile marker 288, just north of Gaylord. located 7 miles north of gaylord, on the SOUTHBOUND side, 21/2 miles south of vanderbilt.

When to go

also attendent leaves about 2;30pm. this place gets busy about 3:30pm till bout 7pm, and ocationally a few after that. woods are out of the question now because of 4 to 5 feet of snow. --------
