On the Number 2 highway north of Grande Prarie 12 km south of Rycroft corner there is a quiet abandoned campground. Very easy to find just a little noisy with the vehicles on the highway.

From Rycroft corner 12 km south on Highway 2 on the west side of the road, down in the revein

When to go

9:00 to 12:00 PM depending on weekends, if there is a vehicle there you are just about guaranteed that they are cruising, check out the creek bed on the west side.

Etiquette

Check out the creek bottom, cruise under the bridge or walk to the west down the creek, lots of room to get busy on the shore.
