The Attic, later name changed to Utopia or some affectionally called "Frutopia" closed its doors may 26, 2006 for good.

No there are no openly gay-friendly establishments in GP that i am aware of.

this is a gay friendly place and really cool. decor is retro and funky. i was cruised by a guy coming out of there last night! it is called UTOPIA now. 2 thumbs up! maybe look for a cruiser outside snappers...then invite 'em down to UTOPIA
