Tek Yon

Update 11/24/2008 Tek Yon has moved locations and is now on a street called "Ekrem Tur"... to get here... walking down Istikal from Taksim Square, you turn right on a street called "Balo" (it is one of the few streets cutting through Istikal that permits vehicles on it, so that will help you find it). Walk down Balo until you get to the last possible cross street where you can go left... take that street 25 meters and voila... Ekrem Tur... turn right and club is on the right hand side at the corner.
Cross street: Yeni Carsi Sokak

• Crowd:Probably Istanbul's most diverse place in terms of types of people - bears, jeans, twinks, rent boys, the occasional "travesti".

• Hours:Tek Yon is very busy on Tuesday & Wednesday and PACKED 800-1000+ on Friday and Saturday and just pumping music. Recommended.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:Just make sure you know the terms if you are taking someone home.
  Cruisiest Spots: Guys hanging out in the back around the benches are more likely to be rent boys.
• Wheelchair Accessible:No / It's down a narrow twisting flight of steps...
