Sauna Verde Club

Not a gay sauna, but a well-known for gay people in Kyoto. The place is frequented by mostly middle aged to mature men but sometimes younger men are there. Because of the nature of the business, you need to be very sure that the guy is looking for a guy to play with. Otherwise, you will be arrested as a public nuisance. So, be sensible.

The guide

Where exactly

Sauna Verde club is located near the main exit of JR Kyoto Station. Take right (facing to Kyoto Tower). Walk one traffic signal you will see a tall, narrow building, and the name is displayed in English on a vertical sign outside the building.. There are two elevators located either side of the street entrance. Front desk is on 7th floor. When you get there, remove your shoes and select a shoe locker. Then give your show locker key to the desk.. They will give you a gown and shorts to wear while you are there. Bath/ Sauna area is located on the 8th floor, the 6th floor is the lounge, and 5th floor is the napping area that is a semi-darkened room with many bunk beds.

When to go

Daytime on weekdays are mostly gay men are hanging around. Weekends daytime is some of straight guys are there too. Please be careful!

Etiquette

Make eye contact and subtle fingering your private part in sauna area. You can engage more action in the napping room..

Nudity: No nudity in the lounge. You can be naked in the bunk bed.

Safety

Sometimes the staff will come to the nappy room to make sure there are no hard gay actions going on in the nappy room. But the staff knows what is going on there.
