St Johns Street- St Johns Gardens - Artillery Street area

areas

Artillery Street / Byrom Street

Is This Your Business?

This area is great for pulling 'straight' lads who've been out on deansgate and get really busy with lads taking a slash on the way home in the early hours.

The whole area is pretty cruisey after 2am but the best area is down Artillery Street, where you'll find the El Rincon Restaurant. It very quiet and the street is empty after 2am because its a back alley between office buildings. There are loads of dark doorways and basements steps to use and even some bushes near the El Rincon restaurant.

You can either stay on the street or head to the nearby St John's Gardens which is quite dark and private when they let the bushes grow!

Neighbourhood: Deansgate

Take St John's Street off Deansgate and then left onto Artillery Street. It's the street where the El Rincon restaurant is.
  • Directions:Take St John's Street off Deansgate and then left onto Artillery Street. It's the street where the El Rincon restaurant is.
  • Hours:Its best after 2am when the bars are kicking out but I've pulled at 4am before on the way home from clubbing. Also seen guys in the dark area next to El Rincon around this time.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Be careful of some of the CCTV at the top end of Artillery Street.

Usually get 'straight' lads of different ages (mostly under 30 in my experience). The best route to take it St John from Deansgate then walk down towards the El Rincon restaurant and walk straight down Artillery Street. You can then loop back onto St John Street and do the circute again if you didn't pull first time. If you see the same guy twice then you're in!!
  • Nudity / Policy:Some dark corners and bushes in the area - some CCTV to be aware of.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Is accessible
  • Warnings:Just the CCTV but generally its very quiet and you wont be disturbed.
