Ocala National Forest Redwater Lake

This is not a park but all woods and very private. Facilities: Tucked inside pine flatwoods down a one-lane unimproved road, Redwater Lake is a beautiful site for paddling, fishing, and boating, just off SR 40. Alternatively you can go to Bear-N-Oak located at7728, 8126 NE 58th Ave, Silver Springs, FL 34488. Free parking and quiet trails.

Where exactly

Go Hwy 40 East over the Ocklawaha bridge past Hwy 314 after the first passing zone you will pass NE 145 ave rd on the left now pay attention to the first dirt road on the LEFT but before Hwy 314a. There was a sign but was taken down. It is the ONLY dirt road on the left between 145 ave rd and Hwy 314a. Follow this dirt road which ends at Redwater lake.

When to go
Etiquette

Very secluded and the nice thing is you can hear any vehicle coming down the road. Watch out for fisherman fishing however there are plenty of side areas to go and have fun.
