It's about 2.5 hours from downtown Montevideo. The road is nice, and you can stop along the highway in different villages an beaches. When you pass the exit to Piriapolis you have maybe a 35 minutes' drive to get there. When you see the signs for the Punta del Este airport, check your right side for the sign. It's worth the trip...promise. Be careful late afternoons with young locals in groups -- they want your money...and only your money. If you are alone, stay next to your car and ond the water shore, don't go to the woods alone at night. Many bisexual couples go there during the weekends. Have fun!

From Montevideo take the east highway towards Punta del Este. When you get to the Punta airport, check your left side for sign. Take the small road towards the ocean and voila!

Etiquette
Just find a couple or a nice gay and sit next to them nude. Show yourself walking and going to the water often. Try to make eye contact and make them follow you to the dunes.

Safety
No police have been seen lately because nudity in beaches is now legal. In case of problems, just stay quiet hiding on the dunes for an hour or so.
