Where exactly
This 23-acre community park is situated along the Maple Valley Highway and Houser Way. Its convenient location (with easy access from the I-405 and Maple Valley Highway) and amenities contribute to its popularity in Renton. From I-405 South: Take Exit 4 (Maple Valley exit). This will take you onto Sunset Boulevard NE. Go left at the second signal light (this is Maple Valley Road, Highway 169). Get into the right lane, travel a short distance, and turn right into Cedar River Park. Cross street: 1717 Maple Valley Highway & Houser Way

Etiquette
The walking and bicycle trail on the opposite ( South side of river ) side of the Main park , is paved and goes a long way toward Maple Valley. Restrooms along the way. Before you get to the Main Park on the bicycle path, there are wooded trails that lead off toward the river, winding to and fro.
