Is This Your Business?

cruiser adds 9/18/2008: This store has recently upgraded its arcade section and replaced all the equipment with new. One interesting feature is the ability to fast forward through a title, though this seems to make it fast forward for everyone watching that channel at the moment. Nice sized booths.

Front area has mags, DVDs and toys. You can go to the register to get change (quarters). The back area has booths and a restroom. There is also a back door to go in and out of.
Crowd: A little bit of everything. I've had Mex, Black, White, Asian. Most of the time I've come across white businessmen.

Neighbourhood: Burbank

Who's Coming

A little bit of everything. I've had Mex, Black, White, Asian. Most of the time I've come across white businessmen.

From Oakland: 880 south to Stevens Creek Blvd/San Carlos, exit and go east. It's on the left hand side just after Bascom Ave. You have to make a U-Turn at the next street. Parking in the back or out on the street. From Santa Cruz: North on Hwy 17 till you get to the 280/Stevens Creek/San Carlos exit. Take the exit and stay to the right. Head east and follow the same directions as before.
Cross street: Bascom Ave.
  • Crowd:A little bit of everything. I've had Mex, Black, White, Asian. Most of the time I've come across white businessmen.
  • Hours:10am till 11pm Mon-Sat.
Best times: I've been there during the day and at night, it's about the same both times. There are always a few guys hanging out reading mags.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Don't "hang out" in the booth area. You start doing that and whom ever is working will go back there and tell you to get in a booth and put money in. I usually hang around the mags till I make eye contact with someone and then we kinda go toward the booths. Or you can leave your door unlocked, someone is always going to open it and take a peek inside. If you like what you see, motion them in.
Cruisiest Spots: The booths are watched by a camera, but you can always slip into a booth in the far right corner with out any problems
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:cruiser adds 9/18/2008: One complaint I have is that they only play str8 titles in all sixty channels. WIth all the cocksuckers hanging out here, you'd think there'd be a nod or two!

Sometimes it smells real bad ().

whos coming to Y Not

  • I don't like giving brief reviews, but this place can be summed up fairly simply.

    It Blows.

And, I don't mean in a good way. There are other better choices right down the street, why bother? Mostly straight, and mostly dull.

  • I was in the Y-Not the other day and an Asian guy about 25 or so popped into my booth. IBe aware of this guy because while I was standing and he was kneeling, he started feeling around trying to get his hand in the pocket of my pants for money, my wallet, keys, or whatever. He then got real snotty and I gave him the boot.

  • Couldn't find any glory holes, but if you leave your door unlocked, sooner or later somebody usually checks you out. Seems hit and miss though. Some days every booth is occupied, but nobody is sharing.

  • I just went and they do have atleast one gloryhole. It's in the 2nd/3rd booth from the back. There could be others, didn't notice.

Didn't notice any bad smell. Was pretty clean.
