Get to Southport, get on the coast road and follow signs for Ainsdale Beach, Pontons.

Etiquette

Drive car on beach, turn right and go to the second fence, park up and get on those dunes, nice forest at the back.

Safety

Sometimes rangers and beach patrol. Have to watch out for police entrapment. Mainly on the dunes nearer the entrance, where families are around, go further along.
