Parking area with public foot path into woods. All ages and types. Very active during Spring and Summer, between noon - 2pm and 5pm - 7pm. Watch out for dog walkers and courting couples.

Layby on the B653, between Welwyn Garden City and Wheathampstead. From WGC, follow B653, pass Lemsford turn-off on right, pass entrance to Brocket Hall on right, layby on right.

Cruisiest spot: In rhododendron bushes, on left hand side of footpath.

EDITOR - IMPORTANT MESSAGE You will have noted on this site and some other listings in Hertfordshire, a comment by Inspector Gaskell of Hertfordshire Constabulary threatening police action if "any criminal or anti-social activity" takes place at these sites. With the number of unsolved burglaries, thefts etc. prevalent in the Hertfordshire Area, we would have thought that Police time would have been better spent is catching "real" criminals and Inspector Fiona Gaskell would surely be more gainfully employed tackling domestic violence!! http://www.herts.police.uk/news/a515. htm Obviously, if offence is caused to the general public by gay action at these sites, then the Police should warn against such action. cruisers must bear in mind that the Police may act at these sites and accordingly you should use them with some discretion.
