Inside it is a surprisingly huge theatre. Cavernous. It is cool (not air conditioned.)

- Mexican men who can afford the ridiculously cheap $3.50US entry fee.

- Small one; bathrooms (lots of cruising there also) have no paper whatsoever.

Where exactly
Very near the Zocalo, up the street from Sanborns by three blocks, turn right by New Jeans and walk on the right side down two streets. Acacinema has a old huge moviehouse marquee but is on the second floor walk up. Cross street: Sanborns street.
Cruisiest spot: Very back. I actually found double seats like small sofas in the back. Unheard of in most cinemas.
When to go
They open, presumably daily, at 12noon and close around 10pm, sometimes earlier. Best times: I went too early but had fun. I am going back around 6pm as I'm hoping it gets a bigger crowd.
Etiquette
Took forever for my eyes to adjust to the extreme dark after the tropical sun. Nice and cool inside. After you can see a bit either whip it out of make some moves. Many of the men are just waiting for someone to help out.
Safety
Small one; bathrooms (lots of cruising there also) have no paper whatsoever. So either bring some or forget it. Mexican men can be very top and often don't like . Perhaps bringing a or two if you plan to actually .
