Straight up King William Street, Adelaide, past the Supreme Courts, follow the tram line up King William, and find yourself at Veale Gardens on the right
When to go
After 7 pm, when it gets darker. Always someone in the bushes. Make your way to the bush area. The guys don't talk, so use a bit of body language. You'll get lucky every time, and there is a lot of choice. Make your way past the cars, towards the back of the park. Go through the wooden barriers that are lined across the back. Towards the left, there are some bushes that line the tram line. This is where all the action is. Forget the toilets or staying in your car.

It is well-known that Veale Gardens is a beat. There is occasional surveillance by un-uniformed police, who are making sure there are no bashes, etc. It's a safe, casual place to find action every time.
