Myrna's is not a place for men. On any given night, the crowd is 99 percent lesbian.

Save Your $$$, it's not worth the trip! If you are over 25 yrs old, forget it...plus the parking situation is very risky. I went on Friday night, paid the $4 cover and attempted to get served a drink...but that never happened. I'm 45 years old and I couldn't get a drink in a bar, probably because I'm not 21-25 (the hot crowd). Oh well, it's the owner's loss because I had a wallet full of cash that I might've spent in his/her establishment. The music was really WAY too loud and there's no place to sit. The men's bathroom was rancid and foul, can't comment on the women's bathroom. So, overall it's a loser and it's kinda sad because it's the only "alternate lifestyle" bar in the whole city. If I had the $$, I'd move to Anchorage and open a far superior bar with sufficient staff, ample seating as well as parking and more sensual & stimulating music. It'd make a ton o'cash really quickly.

A very friendly crowd, not very smokey, don't have happy hr. prices but the mix drinkd are very large. Easy to find, one block from the sheraton
