Heading into Daylesford from Ballan: Turn RIGHT at first roundabout in Daylesford. Gardens are at top of the hill. Heading in via Woodend or Castlemaine: Turn LEFT at first roundabout and LEFT again at second one. Gardens are at top of the Hill. Cross street: Vincent Street

Cruisiest spot: Toilets at the top of the hill next to tower.

When to go

Gates are never shut. Best times: Just before sunset/after dark but can get lucky at other times to. No tourists around once the suns gone down. Dates open: All year round.

Etiquette

Usual. Make eye contact and the rest will happen. Take a walk through the fernery. Can sometimes meet there and then move to disabled toilet in the mens.
