Where exactly

Coming from Bournemouth, take the A338 Wessex Way towards Ringwood. Follow signs for Wimborne. If you are coming into Bournemouth from Southampton, take the A338 from Ringwood and follow signs for Bournemouth Hospital. At the roundabout take the third exit. CastlePoint is on your right-hand side. Cross street: Castle Lane West.

Cruisiest spot: GAP, Next, Asda, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer.

When to go

Most stores open 8am-8pm, however ASDA is 24-hours. Best times: The best times to go cruising are at weekends between about 11am and 3pm.

Etiquette

In the Waterstone's book store there is a LGBT section - this is also a good crusing spot as a lot of gay men hang around there. If you do pick up, there are unmonitored toilets on the lower level. Just follow signs.

Safety

Can get very busy at certain times of the day. The police do monitor CastlePoint at certain times.
