cruiser Update 1/14/2008: 2 main cruising areas. Enter park from Plenty Road. Turn right at first opportunity and follow road to 1st toilet block. Keep following the road around and arrive at 2nd toilet block where there is usually more action. If entering from Curtain Street, turn right at first opportunity and then left at next one then just follow the road as described above--- Three cubicles (full-length doors and full-length viewing-crack between 2), and 2 urinals. Gets busy in area by urinals with groups developing at peak times. Hot nights, walk into park from Curtain St.

Best time
7am - sundown Best times: Open 7am to 5pm always, although times vary from…
Crowd
Tradies, Uni students, truckies, reps and a few 'pensioners'.
Watch out
cruiser adds: Police do occasionally patrol the park, but don't hassle you.

The guide

Where exactly

In Plenty Rd, near Curtain St. Located on Plenty Rd. Impossible to miss.

Cruisiest spot: cruiser update 1/14/2008:2nd block, but 1st block can get busy too.*br*Toilets near Curtain St entrance, but other toilets work too, and not so busy.

When to go

7am - sundown Best times: Open 7am to 5pm always, although times vary from Winter to Summer. Summer hours normally till 8pm. Best times: Weekdays, 7am - 7pm; Sunday mornings. After hours fun: Park in Smorgy's car park and walk across to 2nd block. Dates open: 7am - sundown

Etiquette

Straights use park and toilets too, so don't spoil it for us -- you'll know who's cruising and who's not.

Nudity: Yes / Hot nights can see naked group .

Safety

cruiser adds: Police do occasionally patrol the park, but don't hassle you. Really, nothing they can do about people sitting around at a park. That's what park's are for! Lots of lookers in cars, waiting for Brad Pitt to arrive -- they can be off-putting as you don't know if they're police, who occasionally visit (in uniform and out of it).
