  • Hours:The popular picnic spot will be closed between 10pm and 7am during daylight saving months, and 8pm and 7am at other times.

    A gate has been installed at the entrance to Black Mountain Peninsula on the corner of Garryowen Drive and Lady Denman Drive.
    Best times: After dark -- daytime weekends get lots of families, so be careful!
    Dates open: Just about anytime!
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Three options: go into either toilet block, go for a walk into the bushes, or sit in your car and see who takes an interest.
    Cruisiest Spots: Two toilet blocks, just walk on in. Also various carparks.
  • Nudity / Policy:Nudity is unlikely unless you stumble across some action.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Can get real cold during winter. Police visit every now and then but don't cause too much trouble.
