Blooming Point is a beautiful, sandy beach located within the boundaries of Prince Edward Island National Park. However, it is not accessible from the main area of the national park, which lies to the west of Blooming Point, across a small bay. This undeveloped beach stretches about ten kilometersand is not heavily visited. The western end of the beach, near the fenced off piping glover nesting area, is where nude bathers gather. Some visitors have dubbed this area "Bloomerless Point". Although some straight couples visit the beach, the crowd is mostly gay men. Crowds are likely to be twenty or fewer. Despite the small crowds, Blooming Point is the best established nude beach on Prince Edward Island. The RCMP have been known to show up and issue tickets but very rarely. If a uniform approaches suit up.

From Charlottetown, head east on Highway 2 about 25 kms. to Tracadie, turn left (north) onto Hwy. 218 and proceed 6 km. Watch for a small barn with a Quonset hut extension. Take the next left past the barn, pavement be3comes gravel, proceed 1.5 kms. to the end & a small parking lot. Walk over the dunes to textile beach turn left (west) and walk about 30 minutes to nude area.
  • Crowd:Some straight couples but mostly gay men.
  • Hours:Warm summer days.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The best way to cruise this area and not annoy/disturb actual sun bathers and non-MSM's is to find a place in the dunes where you can lie out. If a guy is interested, he will come talk to you.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Traditionally clothing optional.

  • Visiting from TO - going to Blooming point today before I leave tonight. Hope to be joined by a few good men. Chubs, bears, twinks or muscle guys only into other chubs, bears and cubs.

  • New to the area and want to get laid by a few older guys in a beach setting. Clean bottom here late 20's into anyone over 45 years of age. Is this possible on this beach to get spit roasted?

    Let me know any info or interest for the summer of 2009 during the day

  • I was there this past Sunday June 22nd. Normally I hang out in the region of the start of the National Park (where the small brown sign is). Seems like a lot of straight couples have discovered the beach!! At this time of year, the beach is closed not far past the start of the park for piping plover preservation. I guess we'll just have to share the 'gay' part of the beach!!

  • Yes...lotsa guys go through the week. Some retired guys, shift workers, and, at this time of year, tourists!
    Lately, there have been a number of straight couples. FYI
