  • Years ago, before they built the nature museum, this was the greatest cruising ground in town. The parking lot at the corner of Cannon and Fullerton was smokin' hot from morning to night. The little patch of woods between the old building that was there and the parking lot was even hotter.

The museum destroyed all that. Progress, I believe they call it. Don't believe a word of it.

  • Was there Thursday (7.17.08) evening about 9:30 pm and nothing going on. Hung out for about half an hour on one of the benchs along the path and not one good cruise.

  • Boy, I didn't know cruising in LP had survived the construction of the Nature Museum. Back before that there was a parking lot and some very limited bushes that were the hottest spot in town.

I'll have to swing by sometime.

  • Went there last night - no action. Totally dead. Lots of mosquitoes in the bushes too.

  • Seriously? This is a pretty wide-open space. I can't imagine there's ANY safe/discreet play area here.

Who ever created this location - I'm not judging, just surprised. Obviously you put this here, b/c you must've played here. Was it really a safe place to play?
