New year. New venue. Special guests. Same sleaze. It's MC's resolution to party as much as possible this year considering the impeding apocalypse and all. It's a return to form, a return to the R&R and a return to monthly parties from the boys at Macho City. This month, it's an honor to have one of our favorite DJs grace us with her impeccable skills and selections - Erika (Ectomorph, Interdimensional Transmissions, Detroit). Erika finds time to accomplish many things in her waking hours, such as being a member of Ectomorph, co-conspirator of Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions record label, DJing with vinyl, making music with her pet machines, and running erika.net - a freeform streaming radio station. The daughter of a famed scientist, Erika is no stranger to expressing her ideas through technology. In 1997 she was handed a TR-606 and asked to join Ectomorph, and has since become an electronic musician of the highest order, focusing on analog synthesis, with live hardware sequencing that allows transformation over time and a deep depth of tone. Erika has also been one of the biggest supporters of Macho City over the years and it's truly an honor to have her this month. See you on the floor.
