Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026 runs from 7 to 11 October at Messe Frankfurt, Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, in Frankfurt. It is presented as a marketplace for books and digital content, bringing together the publishing trade and readers. The week is split into two parts. From Wednesday to Friday the fair is open to trade visitors only. On Saturday and Sunday the doors open to all literature enthusiasts, so the weekend is the time to go if you are not attending for professional reasons. Further information on the programme and entry is available on the official website, buchmesse.de/en. Check there before you travel to confirm opening arrangements for each day.
