Pride Student Group and the LGBTQ Center of Century College co-host with Twin Cities PBS a National Coming Out Day celebration and discussion featuring clips from Out North, a new documentary about LGBTQ history in Minnesota. Join in interactive learning and small-group discussions about the privileges and usage of coming-out stories and how they have changed over the years. Out North: MNLGBTQ History explores the untold past of Minnesota's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community and celebrates the strides the state has made since the gay liberation movement began in the 1970s. More on Out North: http://www.tpt.org/out-north/. Info on Parking: We recommend coming into the #3 or #4 entrance (closest to the Nest). When you get inside, head down 1 level to 1st floor. Parking is completely free - park anywhere with an open spot!
