About
Boogie Shoes is a spring concert from the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus (PSGMC), staged at the Plaza Theatre, 128 S. Palm Canyon Dr. in Palm Springs, California. The program celebrates the disco and funk music that defined the 1960s, '70s and '80s. The set list draws on songs by ABBA, Donna Summer, the Bee Gees and KC & the Sunshine Band, and includes crowd-pleasers such as "Dancing Queen" and "We Are Family". The chorus invites the audience to dress for the occasion, with bellbottoms, feathered hair and platform shoes all mentioned, and the concert is billed as music made for dancing in the aisles. There are three performances: Friday 16 April 2027 at 7:00 pm, Saturday 17 April 2027 at 7:00 pm, and Sunday 18 April 2027 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.
