Where exactly
Go around 5 miles out the Asheville hwy.,turn right before the bridge,pull down to secluded parking area.
Cruisiest spot: Woods on upper level.
When to go
Any time after 10.am is good,1:00pm-3:00pm is always hot! Action is always around if ya can wait for 30 min. or so thou.

Etiquette
park and wait or if someone is around just get out and walk into the woods on the upper level,there is a trail that goes far back into the woods,many places to get out of site and you can also hear people comeing ahead of time.
Nudity: Not a good idea until your in the woods,then it is best to go as far as pulling pants down to your ankles so as you have easy access to them just in case. Get my just about every time i go there,have also had several three ways and popped a guys twice there so far with protection. Have had other guys watch once or twice...HOTT!!!
Safety
summer time evenings and weekends fisherman are around the dam area but not much on the upper level where the woods are, not good fishing. On occation a Ranger may drive down but as long as your not stupid enough to be doing anything in the car and are back in the woods they are not a problem. Usaully pull in and back out,never seen them out of the vehicle.
