Jaxon's Pub At The Village Cove
This is not a gay bar per say - but seems to be quite gay friendly. I've talked with the owner a few times and he used to live in New York City and seens unfazed by gays and comfortable with gay men and women alike. The Irish bartender is a little cold but he follows the owner's lead in terms of what the atmosphere of the place is to be.

Where exactly
Go straight through village of Kennebunkport, over bridge until you reach stop sign at Nott house. Turn left, then bear left about 1/2 mile down round. Village Cove Inn is down hill on left. Cross street: On Chick\'s Cove
Cruisiest spot: You'll know the guys when you see them - but a lot hang out at far end of bar by bathrooms.
When to go
Saturdays 9:30 pm to 1 am. Best times: Karaoke on Saturday nights. Dates open: Saturdays 9:30 pm to 1 am.
Etiquette
No overt cruising really - just a friendly atmosphere and some surprisingly good singers. Eye contact and conversation at the bar or tables can and has led to some hot times off premises.
Safety
The place is small and can get quite crowded and rowdy with tourist preppy types and local rednecks in the summer. The late autumn, winter and spring are the best.
