Take the motorway from Helsinki to Lahti. It is the first reststop (after the Korso exit but before the Kerava exit)

When to go

Any time, weekday and weekend afternoons and early evenings the best. Avoid it during late evenings on weekends.

Etiquette

Walk up one of the paths leading from the parking area. Walk far enough so that drivers just wanting to don't see you

Safety

Sometimes the bus going to Lahtis stops here for 10-15 minutes and the passengers get out. Just stay in your car or in the woods during that time. During weekend evenings drunken kids from Kerava gather here, so stay away at the weekend nights.
