Where exactly
Drive east along Princes Highway thru Lakes Entrance. Continue for 2 km just past crest of hill. Turnoff to right at Lake Bunga sign. Continue for 2 km to beach carpark at end of road. Turn to right here. Toilets 100 metres along dirt road. Cross street: Princes Highway
When to go
Doesn't close. Best times: Can be variable. Has been busy in holiday periods...not sure about outside holiday periods.
Etiquette
Drop in and see what's around. In daytime during holidays can be busy, plus the option of heading into thick tea-tree and dunes surrounding the block.
Safety
Be mindful of other users. If busy, head for the dunes.
